Traveling to Higher Elevations

Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort is at an elevation of about 7,700 feet. The neighboring town, Buena Vista, sits at about 8,000 feet. If you or other guests are not used to higher elevations or are worried about altitude sickness, we recommend spending one night in Denver (5,280 feet) to acclimate before traveling to higher elevations. We have a block of rooms reserved for our guests at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort to stay Friday and Saturday nights at a discounted rate. The resort has accommodations ranging from standard 2-queen hotel rooms to cabins that sleep 6-10. Your invite will have information with the promotional code to use when booking your accommodation at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort. If you're having trouble seeing available rooms, double check you have the correct dates selected: 9/11-9/12. We recommend staying here to enjoy the wonderful hot springs and be within walking distance to all the wedding festivities. If you choose not to stay at the resort, there are many other cabin resorts, hotels, VRBO's, and Air BnB's in Buena Vista that would be easy to get to and from the wedding.

At the resort you'll find a restaurant serving American and Local cuisine. Vegan and gluten-free options can also be requested. At Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort guests are welcome to use a hot spring bath. You can play tennis at this 4-star resort, and the area is popular for hiking and skiing.
